Dupe of the Day
Today’s dupe comes from InTruBeauty, whose full post you can see here. The above photos of Butter London Trout Pout and Sinful Colors Island Coral are from Vampy Varnish and GiMiKd Girl, respectively.
I’m not sure if they’re 100% dupes, but they are definitely very, very similar. Butter London polishes retail for about $14 at Ulta and online, and Sinful Colors nail polishes can be found for a few dollars or less in most drugstores.

Happy 2013!
I decided try a glitter gradient on Christmas day and my left hand turned out pretty well, but my right… not so much. So here, have a picture of my left hand. I used Butter London British Racing Green and West End Wonderland.

Got distracted by my nails while studying… oops.
First Christmas-y manicure! I layered one coat of Butter London West End Wonderland over British Racing Green on all my fingers but my index, where I layered two coats of WEW over Tea With the Queen.
Good luck to everyone on finals!

Today’s Nails: Butter London // British Racing Green
This is the last polish from my mildly excessive Butter London Haul back in September. My material soul had been longing for this frosty, dark forest green polish every since I saw it mentioned in a beauty video last fall, and I finally let myself get it at the 2-for-1 Ulta sale. After I brought it home, I wasn’t sure about my purchase, and it took me a long time to try it out on my nails. But when I wore it for the first time last week, I fell in love all over again. The shimmer is unnoticeable unless you’re in direct sunlight, and it only makes the polish look even more festive. It’s dark, beautiful, and 100% seasonally appropriate. I kind of just want to wear it forever. Excellent application, opacity and overall quality, as to be expected of BL polishes.
